The most important thing you need to do is contact your local HVAC technician to talk about adding a dehumidifier to your home. A dehumidification system will help lower the number of moisture areas in your home, thus eliminating a camel crickets favorite type of environment.
A home’s humidity level should fall between 30 and 50 percent. Any higher than this and you run the risk of welcoming camel crickets into your home (along with a ton of mold growth).
Additionally, you should also keep an eye out for any possible plumbing leaks that should be fixed ASAP and keep clutter to a minimum to limit the number of hiding spaces camel crickets can hide.
