Cold and flu viruses can be just as frightening as a broken furnace during winter. We want to offer you some tips on what to do to keep you and your family healthy and safe in Lancaster this season. The first rule to a flu or cold free month is to wash your hands regularly. Most people don’t realize how many germs they come into contact with, especially your hands. Anti-bacterial soap is a great tool for fighting off the ever-persistent common cold. Your local pharmacy or medical center also offers flu shots every year, often for free. This gives you an advantage over the present flu strain. And finally, too much stress invites illness, so take it easy this winter and spend some time relaxing.
